Fort 550
Welcome to the Fort 550 repeater page. This repeater is on the air covering Van Buren, Fort Smith and areas around the River Valley in NW Arkansas.
Repeater is a Kenwood TKR-820 at 20 watts. It is fed through a Wacom duplexer and 1/2″ Heliax up 100′ to a DB420 antenna. Located on a prominent hill it can reach out!
Repeater is linked into the Arkansas GMRS Repeater Group Linking System with Dell Thin Client and DMK URI interface. It is in full service with “Skywarn Plus” automatic weather alert notifications when weather is active.
Repeater is available with emergency power.

Until you have been “trusted”, your messages will only be heard by admins, and will not be sent to the repeater, network, or other users.
