Bryant 575 Repeater

Welcome to the Bryant 575 Repeater page.

The Bryant 575 repeater is an open repeater, located on a hilltop in Bryant, and is a stand-alone repeater serving the Alexander, Bauxite, Benton, & Bryant area. 

The repeater consists of two Icom IC-F221S mobile radios transmitting at approximately 40 watts. The controller is a Raspberry Pi, and includes Skywarn Plus weather notifications. The antenna is a Comet CA-712EFC GMRS antenna, providing 9db of gain. It is about 90 feet above the ground, and fed with approximately 120 feet of LMR400.

Everything is powered by a 30 amp switching power supply, and has battery backup fail-over provided by an Astron BB-30M, battery backup module.
