Mena 650 Repeater
Mena 650 is at its home in the beautiful mountains of Mena, Arkansas.
Repeater is a Vertex VXR-7000 at 50watts, Phelps Dodge BpBr duplexer fed into a Antenex FG with 1/2″ Heliax at 65′ on a mountain top. Repeater is on UPS and has emergency backup site power.
Repeater is linked to and serves as the Southwest Hub of the Arkansas GMRS Repeater Linking Network with Raspberry Pi and URI Interface. It features Google Assistant, as well as real-time NOAA weather alerts.
