Mena 650 is at its home in the beautiful mountains of Mena, Arkansas.
Repeater is a Vertex VXR-7000 at 50watts, Phelps Dodge BpBr duplexer fed into a Antenex FG with 1/2″ Heliax at 65′ on a mountain top. Repeater is on UPS and has emergency backup site power.
Repeater is linked to the Arkansas GMRS Repeater Linking Network with Raspberry Pi and URI Interface. It features real-time NOAA weather alerts.

Once you are a registered member, transmit a voice message in Zello stating your name, callsign, location, and membership status, and ask an admin to make you a “trusted” user. Until you have been “trusted”, your messages will only be heard by admins, and will not be sent to the repeater, network, or other users.
